About Sydney Harbour Kayaks

A small family-run business, Sydney Harbour Kayaks has been renting and selling kayaks, teaching kayaking and guiding tours on Middle Harbour from The Spit since 1991.

 

We’re here to guide, instruct and inspire you and we are totally passionate about what we do! We take great pride in ensuring you have a wonderful paddling experience. Safety and customer satisfaction are of the highest concern for us. We operate under guidelines from The Australian Maritime Safety Authority and we maintain a very comprehensive Operations Manual, which is audited by NSW Maritime on a regular basis.

We have the largest and highest quality kayak, surf ski and stand-up paddle board fleet in Sydney. Our kayak fleet is mostly made up of our own prestige sea kayak brand, Mirage Sea Kayaks, handmade in Australia on the Central Coast.

Our primary location is at The Spit Bridge, Mosman, in beautiful Middle Harbour, but our deluxe kayak tours also operate in Sydney’s main harbour from The Australian National Maritime Museum at Darling Harbour (with whom we have a partnership).

For those looking to escape the city our subsidiary company Murray River Adventures services stunning Gunbower Creek (known as the Kakadu of the South) in country Victoria, and when applicable runs tours into flooded Gunbower Forest, an environmental watering event that happens every few years.
